Living Wax Musuem

I enjoyed the living wax museum because I got to present my explorer to people, I also really liked it because I thought I had to present to the whole 4th grade but I was wrong. My thoughts of the exploring changed when I got to practice my explorer more because when Mr. Edwards told me that we only got the weekends to practice I got really nervous! I researched about a explorer called Samuel De Champlain and he was the founder of Quebec City in Canada, and when he was a young boy he would already navigate ships!

G4 talk reflection

I felt so nervous to go do the G4 talk that i was shaking. I learned that we had to do this G4 talk because it can make us more independent and so we can do stuff by ourselves! The scripts took us a really long time and lots and lots of thinking to do. this is some tip for you when you are doing the G4 talk. Smile, speak clearly, and last fake it till you make it!

Independent me unit

In our  unit  called independent me we had a health thing where we go to different  classes to learn about different health subjects, like one of them is about sleep, sleep is really important because if you don’t have enough sleep  you can get fat, and when you sleep your brain is cleaning your brain up so you get more memory. 9 or less years old you would need to have about  8 to 10 hours but above 9 it needs to be about 7 to 9 hours , and adults are about 7 hours. You can do yoga to get relaxed and calm and don’t have lots of screen time at night because screens are telling you that it’s morning it’s morning so they make you want to wake up.

Independent me unit

In our unit independent me we learned about healthy things so we went to the MS gym to see Mr. Selvester because he is a P.E teacher, it was so fun we got a bonus because Ms. Selvester’s class was late so we played toilet tag we also played octopus tag and a P.E game we had to jump rope, kick a soccer ball or play with it and dribble a basketball. I got sweaty after doing all that! a fun fact is that our body is filled with water like your blood is made out of water. 60% of our body is made out of water!! I had so much fun their but that day was awesome because after we went to the MS gym it was already time to go home and my friends mom is picking us back to her house since we got to have a playdate! That lesson helped me a lot.
