How did it go conducting research? Triumphs? Challenges?
While conducting my research I think I did well on focusing on my work, as I usually get distracted as I am not interested on the topic I am researching/learning about. But as I got to learn about Leonardo which happens to be one of my favorite artist and learner of all time I found the facts about him very intriguing and learned more about him then I was required to do. I have faced a challenge which was trying to find interesting and new facts as most of the facts lead to one main point.
What did you learn about yourself when you had to take notes?
I learned that to make it easier for myself, I needed to take the notes in order to not get confused.
Historical Narrative Final Draft
What insights did you gain about narrative hooks that you may not have been so aware of before?
An insight that I learned about narrative hooks is that you can use quotes as hooks. I didn’t really know that you could use quotes as I don’t usually. But I really enjoy doing this and I think this captures the audience’s attention really well.
What narrative hooks did you experiment with in your writing?
I have used main ideas as my hooks or interesting facts about Leonardo Da Vinci. I think these two fit my topic and hence I decided to use these two narrative hooks for my historical narratives.
What discoveries did you encounter as you were vlogging?
I discovered while vlogging that practice makes perfect. While filming I have noticed that I had some spots where it wasn’t clear enough or wasn’t fluent. So I decided to film my whole vlog then go back and look at the spots I need to improve and work on to make it as precise and fluent as I can.

What is your BIGGEST TAKEAWAY (BIGGEST LEARNING) from our Revolutionary Thinker’s Project?
My biggest takeaway from this project would be that I should not be afraid to say my ideas. Learning about Leonardo gave me confidence as he inspired me to try different things that I didn’t before as I thought it was ‘wrong’. Leonardo’s ideas were considered crazy at the time but that did not stop him from thinking the way he did. Saying what I think has always been hard for me as the society around us has an idea on what is right and wrong. But as I learned about Leonardo and how he thought my thinking has changed.
