Fist, when I click the green flag on top, the ‘WILD BUNNY’ will start to draw a coordinate. After the ‘WILD BUNNY’ finished drawing the coordinate, I have to press space bar to order ‘2PM’ to draw an angry face with teeth on the coordinate. When I press the space bar, ‘2PM’ will go to -120 in the x axis and 120 in the y axis and then it will point direction 90 and turn 15 degrees for 24times to make sparkling eyes. To draw a nose, sprite will go to 20 in x axis and 30 in y axis and point in direction 90. After that it will turn 120 degrees and move 40 steps two times, then it will point in direction 90 and move 40steps. Lastly to draw a mouth, the sprite has to go to -150 in x axis and -40 in y axis and 300 steps, point direction 180, move 60steps, point in direction -90, move 300 steps, point in direction 0, move 60 steps and point in direction 90. Now, did you get the idea of using Scracth program? Drawing teeth is easy, we just have to repeat turning 45 degrees, move 30 steps, 45 degrees two times, and move 30 steps and point in direction 90.

Secondly, we have to draw a face with smiley face. It is easier than drawing the first face. To draw smiling face, we have to draw eyes again, which is same as the first face. Drawing nose is also same as the first face. Drawing the mouth is little bit confusing. But when you realize how to draw the mouth, it is extremely easy. The rules for the mouth is, first point in direction 180, go to 150 in x axis and -20 in y axis. Then turn 15 degrees, move 40 steps and repeat them for 11 times. Next point in direction 90 and move 300 steps. And you are done! There would be a smiley face on you coordinate! Drawing in Scratch is mostly repeating. The ‘repeat’ will make you more convenient because we don’t have to do again and again.

We created a survey about internet use. In this activity, 133 people surveyed, and 67 of them were female, and 66 people were male. We have surveyed students at Saigon South International School (SSIS) and Holy Redeemer High School (HRHS). At SSIS there were 72 people who completed the survey and 60 from HRHS.

Hypothesis: We think most people in SSIS will use CNN, because it’s popular and proportional. Most of student use CNN for resources. We have used CNN and BBC for resources/homework.

Result: Most students (36%) at SSIS use other website for news and least students (7%) use BBC for news. The rest of the websites were all about on average. As many as 28 students (47%) in Canada don’t use internet for news, and no one use BBC for news.

Conclusion: Our hypothesis didn’t support the result. The plot shows you that students at SSIS mostly use other website for news. On the other hand, students at HRHs mostly don’t use any website for news. Also, nobody use BBC for news in Canada. We think it’s interesting that most people in Canada don’t use any website for news and they don’t even use BBC. Maybe they watch news in television or newspaper, otherwise they are not interest in news. Canadian has their own news broadcast.

We created a video with our science project that we did last time. We just made our science phase change cartoon to 3d video by using Xtranormal. For this project, I could understand more about the phase change and using Xtranormal. This video is about the granddaughter came home and talks about her school, and tells her grandmother what she learned that day, the phase change. She’s story is about, Sandara L.G, (main character) who is an ice cube, decided to go to Vietnam with her friends, (Miss. Bom and Miss Ometer). When they went to Vietnam they realized that the weather in Vietnam is so hot and the ice cube Sandara L.G melts. Later it evaporates and her friends wait until she condensates. When she condensates, they freeze her to form an ice cube.

For this Scratch project, we drew coordinate grid by using Scratch. Lastly year we have done similar project with this project. However this project was harder than projects we did until now by using Scratch. We learned new icons and control items during this project, for example, “point in direction_,” ‘turn _degrees’, ’’move_ steps”, etc. We used point in direction_ to make the character to turn and point several directions, for example, if we order point in direction 90, the character point 90 degrees. “Turn_ degrees” makes the character to turn 90 degrees and face that way. The hardest part of this project is to creating the face in the grid. It is hard to place face on the grid. Later I realized that it is easy to make coordinate graph when we use “repeat”, because coordinate graph is repeating. So, when we use repeat it will make you easier and comfortable to use.

If you click green bar with “ERASER”, it will everthing and start drawing the coordinate plane again.

 - In this picture, there are two people are in the center of interest. This can give a picture the feeling of depth it needs to make it more than just another snapshot. This picture tells the viewers we have to give attention to the two people. We avoided mergers and the white wall makes viewers to give attention to the two people in the center.

The person is not in the center of this picture and there are other objects that attracts our views. We are hard to find which is a point of this picture. To make this picture better, we have to make a point of the picture in the center and make it remarkable.

Attention of the grass is not as strong as the person in the picture. Also two people in the picture are looking at the camera to show that they are the center and we have to give them an attention. The background of this picture is a white wall, nothing else. So, we don’t have to get confused by the background.

However I should practice more to get better at that music. This music is very charm and slow, which makes me comfortable and makes me relax.

I want to recommand this song and this piece to other people! this piece is not that hard, so you can try playing this piece. This song is really good. If I didn’t listen to this song I could’ve not find this piece.

I looking for other piece to try. I am looking for these pieces, “If i ain’t got you”, “A million miles away”, “Slow motion”, etc.
