Simplicity
This photo represents simplicity because there is a simple back round around it and the window is mostly noticed more than the wall
Rule of Thirds
This photo represents the Rule of Thirds because it concentrates on either the trash of the man littering it telling a story and has concentrations on 1 piece on the bottom right or top middle
Lines
This photo represents lines because the lines of the building lines leads to the sky.
Balancing
This picture represents balance to me becuase the curtains and window are on each side of the photo making it look even
Framing
This photo represents framing because i used my stairs to make a frame and concentrated on the white floor making my stairs become the frame.
Avoiding Mergers
In this photo the teddy bear merges with the background too much instead you could do;
Something like this where the bears color is not similar making the bear more noticeable.
Barak Obama announed that there is wind power beung used. he advises strongly that we now use energy that is reusable. Today the air is becoming warming fast. the amount of carbon being emmitted more than predicted for a worse case scenerio. China has now reached where it has emitted more CO2 in the world although it has 4 times the people the US has and Indonesia stands 3rd place where deforeation is a big effect. Glaciers that provide water are vanishing. Species are predicted to die out by the mid centuries becasue of the heat and harm at their habitats. Sea life is now more acidic, dirty, and less lively down there.
Reflection.
Today we are facing our biggest fear and challenge. I feel that this problem will not end because as long as there are greedy people in this world, companies that are emitting CO2 that are greedy are not going to stop because more oil sold for them is more cash. this is really how i feel because i put my self in my position and agreed to the thought of how money can manipulate people, but some other people that are making money of working at owning factories could need money for their families.
Question: what do you feel about the situation that i thought about? how would you cope with it?

Article Name: Flood deaths in Saudi Arabia rise to around 100
Capital:Riyadh of Saudi Arabia
Vocab: negligence:failure of taking care of something. hampered:a process taking to slow.
People in Saudi Arabia are dying because of heavy rains. Dozens are to be missing and for the ones that have become homeless now are being sheltered with food by the authorities. Critics blame the authorities that there were not careful enough and the incidents were not to happen. A lawyer is threatening Jeddah authorities. There is a Facebook page on the Internet made for people against the authorities. Victims at the Red Sea port city died by being collapsed onto by bridges. There were heavy rainstorm on Wednesday, which slowed down the start on the Hajj Pilgrimage in Mecca, luckily nobody in the pilgrimage died, but there were casualties reported from Rabigh and Mecca
In my opinion i agree with the public. these flood i’ve heard about have been happening lately about 4 days before this article was written 77 people were killed in Saudi Arabia. The authorities should of started the instant they could too have solutions for the next flood but did not act which was very foolish of them of not taking precautions after 77 people have died.
Question:Do you think the authorities had enough time to prevent the situation from happening again?

Article :Roofs and walls hit by “tornado”
Capital:Washington DC of the USA
Vocabulary: Cordoned: line of police or guards
A wall behind St Anne’s Primary School in Caversham was blown over but nobody was hurt, plants flew around and the trees were knocked down. It was predicted to be a tornado. It was not confirmed because there wasn’t enough evidence. Houses had broken the roofs and even had the roofs placed somewhere else. A mans garden was collapsed on by a tree.
In my opinion i am glad nobody was hurt neither am i surprised about things flying around. In the USA where i lived these situations were extreme but where quite common. too bad these people had to lose parts of their homes, but this isn’t much of a big deal compared to a f4 tornado which make the victims very lucky.
Question: Do you think the “tornado was a big deal?”

homework on global warming.
November 26, 2009
Kevin Nguyen
1. Back then in the 1860 to 1900 the temperature raised incredibly slowly or only around the same temperature, but soon became extremely faster from 1920 to 2000 today rising about from -.03 C to .05 C which proves global warming and its fast impact.
2. Existence of global warming. For: we’ve been polluting too much and the earth is becoming hotter. Temperatures have been rising extremely fast for the past century. We are releasing CO2 Methane CFC’s and Nitrogen Oxide are the problem to global warming. Against: Scientist say a world that is hot will make more clouds and then the clouds will reflect the temperature.
2b. For is more of a convincing argument for me. It has more reasons and for against scientist said “should” not will.
3. I think CO2 will become the biggest issue for global warming because it is unlimited and is always being exposed to the world as we breathe. Although Nitrogen gas is a fossil fuel that also harms the environment it will soon end because it is a fossil fuel.

All of the worlds low-laying area will sink, people will die, our human race will lose a high percentage. |

There could be droughts leading to death or desperateness leading to killing. |

Geography Debate
November 24, 2009
On the debate day, there were 2 debates done, an online debate and a person to person debate. The online debate made sure everybody be able to share their ideas, but was unfair because everybody had a chance to go online to find more information to support their answers when they were supposed to have their supporting facts before. The silent debate was also boring because it was quite and did not have more a serious vibe that debates should have so everybody is at their best full-time when they are only posting answers the could copy and paste. In a live debate if the person is answering a counter-question they could hesitate and not have an answer when at the silent debate you could cheat. I did not like the silent debate at all because of it being boring, unfair, and not making everybody have 100% participation. The unpleasant things that happened in the person to person debate was that some shy people could not speak up for themselves to support their ideas. What I did like about the debate is that there was no cheating, it was only you and what you’ve learned.
Overall I thought the debates were fun and something new for us. It was our first time having a debate for the school year and it was very fun for me. I loved the person to person debate although some people were a little unclear and kept on screaming at me when I was asking them a question, but the debate brought intense debating which really made the debate fun and a little out of control. I think next time we should make sure everybody has a chance to share his or her point of view.
What I’ve learned from Bots
November 23, 2009
Bots=
In the video i saw about types of viruses I’m very surprised how viruses can take over so many computers in such little time. in the video itr said that windows are the most vulnerable to viruses. with the fact that windows have the largest monopoly in the world where Mac are nearly impossbile to recieve viruses. Windows are simply money making idiots because they have the same errors each year with slow and vulnerable systems while macs are fast, strong systems.
Its quite clever how the main bot makes an DDOS which is sending its controlled bots go to on site and overload the site to stop working.

My Plan.
November 3, 2009
Plan A.
this isn’t easy.
I have no idea what my idea is.
…
-My goal will be simple. Get money, save it up and use the money to build schools and free food “stores” in Dong Nai. The question is how.
here is what im thinking for plan A. “the big plan”
Get help from people on youtube. There are users on youtube that want to donate money to charity that want to help. We can ask them to share my idea because they have many subscribers.
-to make then donate we tell them they actually know and get to help
-ask for donations
-the some users of only 200,000 subscribers make 20,000 dollars a month. if we get them to make second page for charity we can get pronably 1/4 of the suscribers and make money.
-witht he money we can use it to build schools and areas that have free food
-the building with food can give free food from monks that want to help.
\
Who: We can start with the youtube users that want to help already. like kevjumba.
When: we can send a video to him in a month.
Why: To make a change for people living in Dong Nai Slums
What: get subscribers to help donate money for dong nai
Who: subscibers, SSIS students and tachers, Youtube stars
MDG’s

The Millennium Development Goals
The MDG’s are very difficult and nearly impossible goals to accomplish. Unless we help. I am going to talk about how MEDC’s provide education internationally with schools everywhere so that children everywhere will have at least primary education by 2015. This goal in my opinion is easy. My question is why isn’t it succeeded yet. All we have to do is have schools built in every city and have teachers that can teach simple primary education. Building schools may be expensive since its what needs to be all over but we are constantly getting donations. We also should have help the government to build schools for around the world and find teachers they can teach simple primary educations. What I’m saying is easier said than done maybe in your opinion, but here is how I see it. Schools take long to build, but are quite expensive, but where they are most needed are in South America and we can simply have big schools built for everybody to come to. The big schools can have all teachers gather and teach a lot of students in big rooms. It may be difficult to teach, but the students are still getting an education. Something IS better than nothing. Teachers should be smart enough to read and teach what they read out of books because primary education is easy for them to understand. So what is so hard about succeeding this goal?
