Hyperlinking Chocolate

Adding links to your blog posts is a great way to give your readers extra information. For example, when I read about someone’s travels, I love it when they give me the link to website of the hotel, restaurant or tourist attraction they talk about. It saves me the trouble of having to do a Google search.

Here is an example of using a link in a post:

I love many kinds of foods, but the one that I would miss the most if I were stuck on a deserted island would be… chocolate. Oh, chocolate! It’s heaven in a bite.  But I’m picky. I don’t eat just any chocolate. No no no! I love goooood chocolate! Dark chocolate! So, instead of spending all my money on chocolate bars, I go to a shop like ‘Boniva Chocolate’ and buy 3 or 4 yummy chocolate creations. So next time you want a really good taste of chocolate, spend a bit more and get a special delight.

How do you add a link? Could not be simpler. When you are typing a post, just highlight a word or more in your paragraph and then click on the icon for ‘Insert/edit link’ (or type Alt+Shift+A) and copy/paste in the URL (web address) that you want your readers to see.

Don’t forget to ‘Publish’ or ‘Update’ your post. Your readers will appreciate it!
