In this blog post, I will be showing you how to add a Clustr Map to your wordpress blog. In case your are wondering what a Clustr Map is, it is a small widget that shows you how many people from different regions visit your blog. Adding this widget is simple and easy; just follow the instructions below:
1. Open firefox and on the address bar, type in the address shown below
2. Once you get to the website, it should look something like this
3. In the red box I’ve highlighted, enter your blog’s URL in the URL box, and your email address in the email box. Keep in mind that they will send you your Clustr Map account’s info there.
4. After filling in the boxes, click on the “Make my map” button on the right side of the boxes.
5. After clicking on “Make my map”, it should take you to your admin page. If you scroll down, the page should look like this:
*note* You do not have to do anything to the section above the red box.
6. Copy the HTML and go to the back end of your blog.
7.On the side, mouse over appearance and then click on the arrow pointing down.
8. click on the widgets button
9. Under available widgets, drag the Text box into the main sidebar
10. paste the code in, and give it a title
11. Click on the save button and tada~ ur finished.
