Welcome to one of the starting points for my ICT class. This is an interesting class as, with the move to a 1-2-1 laptop program and scheduling issues,  it is the last year that it will be offered at SSIS.  I have been reading a number of things online about incorporating student chosen topics  So I  have asked the students to add what they want to work on to the class.

We will continue to blog, research, use social bookmarking tools and learn about using our Eportal.

But, in addition, by popular demand we will also look at:

  • Sound editing with sound booth
  • Using Photoshop
  • Photo retouching with Photoshop
  • Introduction to Flash
  • Basic Web Creation

Hopefully their will be some interesting content to share.  On our blog:

student posts – all of the aggregated posts from the individual blogs.

blog prompts – different prompts I will use to direct some blogging assignments (eventually there will be none)

students choice – the different areas student have asked to learn more about

wow -  great space where we acknowledge the cool things that are happening in our class (my ICT 10 portfolio)
