Book #1 “What is your Conlcusion Holmes?”

The novel suggest a theme that is rather common but true in many cases as presented in the novel; ” everything is not what is seems.” The novel presents various types of literary devices such as imagery, oxymoron, irony, foreshadow and of course puns. However, the most remarkable literary device I find of my interest would be the general ideas in sentence structure where words are written into a sentence but keep a hidden meaning possible to discover by simply rearranging or blocking out the words in the sentence. As always there are a lot of things to learn from Sherlock Holmes but his habits of putting two and two together show a great deal of intelligence or simply logic that fascinates me teaching me how the simplest details can mean the death of a man who was claimed to be killed by a ghost. I recommend this book to anyone with interest in detective stories, Sherlock Holmes truly deserves the title of the greatest detective ever to have existed.
