Carpe Diem!

This is my favorite quote from the book Dead Poets Society.

From this quote from the book, I learned that people should enjoy the present.

Even if i’m living hard life, I should enjoy the present and try to solve the problem.

Dead poets society is a story that talks about rights in stuffy school life.

There was a school that has strict rule. One day, new teacher came to school. His name was John Keating.

And he starts to teach students against all those school rule.

My favorite part of book is when teacher Keating is leaving the class room.

The students stands on the desk and say “Oh Captin My Captin.”  I like this part because it shows the fact that

students really liked the way teacher keating teaches them.

Also that part has literary devices which is repetition of sound.

Heck had become a loner for long time. He is living in abandoned car, because he doesn’t want other people to know that his mother is missing without take caring him. He just doesn’t want to give any shame to his mom. The theme for first few chapters was more about loneliness. However, after those few chapters, it more become like adventurous, because lots of thing happens with Heck, and he actually forgets that he is being lonely.

I learned that when people think positive, it actually gives more power to do something. For Heck, he thinks about good deeds, and lots of people had helped him.

In this novel, the author uses literary devices like personification again. The author Martine Leavitt uses lots of lots of personification in this book. for example, in page 108 he wrote, “His teeth were crying, and then he was.  Teeth can’t cry like human but he describe the pain of teeth by saying teeth were crying.

Have you ever become a loner because no one cares about you?

For Heck Superhero, he would says yes and because he would says yes, the theme of this novel is loneliness. What Heck does in the novel is good and sounds exciting, but he had done that all alone.

Heck is a eight grader. However, his mom is always in “hypertime”, so she could not do anything for heck. They lost their house, mom had gone somewhere and there was only Heck, and he tried to find his mom and get a great job to make his mom happy.

During the story, Heck talks about “Good Deeds.” He believes that good deed will lead him to final destination of his plan. Therefore, he starts to help people that he sees around the mall.

I learned that even when we are lonely and facing bad situation, we need to do our best and try to seek for new solution, not just sits down and regret what i have done or give up.

I had enjoyed the book a lot, especially when heck went to dentist due to his illness of teeth, the conversation between nurse and Heck was hilarious. The nurse keep asks for mom but Heck was complaining that why this world doesn’t give him a chance to grow sense of independence.

In this novel, the author uses literary device such as  personification. for example, in page 25, when Heck was eating rice, he says “the rice was waking his teeth up.” also in page 24, it says his toes were screaming “food food”.  He had uses that kind of literary device to give a humor and also, to make readers to feel more lively.

Im  in senior, and spanish 4  is my 4th year of learning spanish. Specially, with Mr.Medina. Mr.Medina is very kind, but sometimes he gives us a lot of hw, test, and project. Mr.Medina wants us to focus on speaking therefore, we had one little project about anything that we want to talk about. However, I didn’t prepare for that project at all. I was really nervous, and I was going to think what to say when other students are presenting, but my plan was just ruined because of AARON!!!  Aaron just pointed at me and ask Mr.Medina to make me start the presentation.  So…… What I did was just talk about my friends in Honduras, Vietnam and Korea. Of course I didnt prepare at all, my presentation was very bad, but as I said Mr.Medina is very kind, he told me to make a other good presentation with power point and present on other day. I really love spanish class because of Mr.Medina. He is very cool. !!!!!!!!!1

I think what RIAA doing is wrong, because even they ask poeple to pay that much money, people can’t pay all of them.  What RIAA is doing now is just to show taht RIAA is “tough”, so people will freak out and stop download illegal music. Rather ask people to pay that much money people should make a rule in p2p. There will be server manager in certain p2p program, and they should use some time to check people’s web hard drive and erase any illegal files, so we can prevent from RIAA asks people to pay millions of money.

it was kinda boring day.

Damn…….  school….. senior…. I hate it. Actually I like school, but just don’t want to work.

I can’t believe we senior don’t have any kind of privilege.
