Pozdrav, ne postoje ljudi koji čitaju moj blog,

I science, we made geographic models out of Duplo™ blocks.

This is my model of a volcano:

The red is the lava flow. The blue is the smoke coming off of the lava flow. I put it in a spiral to make it obvious that it is smoke. The yellow is the outer layer of the volcano.

Volcanoes form near subduction zones, due to the sinking crust melting and transforming into magma. Inside my model, there are red blocks, to represent the magma rising.

After a few hours, igneous rocks begin to form, as evident by my next picture:

The black blocks show the igneous rocks that form.

I don't know what else to write, so.

Yeah.

Dia duit daoine ann nach bhfuil léamh mo bhlag,

Our product is a face mask. I was thinking we could make our slogan something to do with nature and health. I came up with, "Help nature, help your skin." This is supposed to show people that our product is healthy and uses natural materials. It makes people feel good about using this because, as the slogan suggests, it helps nature and helps your skin.

Hallo nicht exsitent Menschen, die mein Blog lesen.

In SS we made model governments out of gummy bears. Here are my models.

Monarchy:

The red bear is the king and he is sitting on a throne made of yellow bears.

Oligarchy:

The red bears are the oligarchs and they are standing on a platform of yellow bears to raise themselves above the poor.

Tyranny:

The green bear is the tyrant and he is standing on an orange bear to make it clear that he is in charge. The clear bears are the soldiers that protect him.

Democracy:

All the bears are lining up to cast their vote into a ballot box.

  • What did you know about these forms of government BEFORE we started this unit?

Monarchy: I knew that a king or queen ruled and that they had absolute power.

Oligarchy: I had never heard of an oligarchy before this unit.

Tyranny/Dictatorship: I knew that one person either took power or remained in power using force. These people are often cruel.

Democracy: I knew that each citizen had equal power, but they elect a president to speak on their behalf.

  • Why is it important to learn about forms of government?

It's important because we learn that the not everyone does things the same way.

  • Which form of government do you think works best & why?

I think that Democracy works best because that way everyone has an equal say.

Hello non-existent people that read my blog,

This is a photo of a tomato a week after it has been mummified:photo-on-12-5-16-at-10-35

It was fun and weird. We had to scrape out the insides of the tomato. The insides were supposed to equal the organs of a body. Then we put salt and baking soda into the tomato. Then we stuffed it in a bag.

My 3 favorite parts of SS have been:

  • Timeline
  • Minecraft Video
  • See, Think, Wonder

Hi guys!

I finished building my Minecraft Ancient Egypt! Now, here's my video!

And here's my reflection!

  • What did I learn about GEOGRAPHY & EARLY HUMAN SETTLEMENT from this project?

I learned that people often settled near water sources and physical geography that worked to their advantage.

  • What am I proud of most in my project?

I am most proud of my Nile River. I think I did good job representing it in my world, especially because I showed the Blue and White Nile.

  • What would I do differently if I were to do this project again?

I would make my Mediterranean Sea larger. I think the Mediterranean Sea was smaller than it should've been, it should have been just a bit larger.

Doing Canva is so far pretty fun. I learned how to add backgrounds to pages, turn pictures into grids, put text over images, crop, and how to not over complicate things by making less into more. It's really cool to learn about graphic design. This is my first post so I'm sorry that it's not very good.
