Today during exploratory writing class, we were having a class about how we can persuade our products more using the slogans of the product, and how we can use different types of them to have different techniques and different persuasive techniques of them. So today, we are going to look at the slogan of Nike, Just DO IT! Yes, yes, yes, everyone should know about this. So, how is Just do it related to Nike? How will it connect, in which way of which perspective of people?

Well, this is my educated guess, (my hypothesis) First when you see the logo of Nike, it is a check mark. So it tells us that it is always a check. So it means to just yolo everything, and buy our product, because it is a check, and that is good. So Just DO IT! means to Just BUY IT! It tells us to just buy the product.

Sorry that I posted this about 7 hours later than I was supposed to. There was unexpected errors that happened on the internet.

Thank you for reading my article!

Hello people! I am Roy! I haven't posted for awhile, but I am doing now. At social studies class, we were learning about the 4 different types of governments and how they all happened at Ancient Greece. After we learned Monarchy, Oligarchy, Tyranny, and democracy, then we did a project that we build the government up with gummy bears.

The first picture (Upper left) is tyranny. It is a picture that there is a dictator with a pinned crown, and all those soldiers killing a person because he didn't obey the dictator.

Next, (Upper right) is obviously democracy. We can simply understand that by looking at the sign "VOTE". On democracy, they think that all citizens have a vote.

Next, (Below left), is oligarchy, because it has the sign $$ (Money), and the oligarchs are rich aristocrats that has pieces of land. Those 5 people are the dictators, and the left are rich people, with a lot of supplies but at the right the poor people that fainted.

Lastly, it is monarchy, with a king, bodyguards, and people bowing to him.

It is extremely important to learn about the governments, because we can learn and understand the different perspectives and ways that leaders and dictators rule their country differently, and later when you get to become the leader, you can reflect on what you've learned and take good things from each other and use it wisely.

So everyone, thank you for reading my article. This was social studies.

Hi Guys this is my post! Back at it again through social studies. So, today, I will answer some of the reflective questions.

What are THREE new things I learned about GEOGRAPHY & EARLY HUMAN SETTLEMENT?
I learned that people worked hard to earn their free time, they had places that they can farm and can live, and they have different jobs, even if it is 3000 years ago.
What are TWO things that I am proud of in my project?
I have used different techniques in iMovie, and I used my awesome architect Skills to build this project.
What is ONE thing I would do differently if I were to do this project again?
I learned that I can't rush when the next project Comes.
thank you guys, and see you in the next post!

Hello Guys! This is Roy! We have done Aleks as our Math Class for this quarter, and I am finally doing my reflection of Semester 1. I will answer 3 questions that my kind, and funny math teacher: Mr Schoonard as provided me.

  1. In what areas do you feel successful in math?

I really feel successful in math that I learned a lot of topics through Aleks, and how we can connect math to real life situations in many various ways.

2. In what areas are you unhappy with your progress?

I feel kind of concerned that I am falling a little behind compared to my classmates; I am on unit 2, but my other friends are mostly in Unit 5. (From Unit 2 you go directly to unit 5)

3. What goals can you set for next quarter?

I am aiming to finish Unit 5, and also at least 1/3 of Unit 3.

Thank you for reading my reflection.

This is my book review of the book 'City Of Ember'. I learned about we always need to keep the deadline to achieve a proper grade. I noticed that we need to keep this habit so that we can go to good universities. In high school, the teachers and staffs will take this much more seriously because in high school we really need to study well so that the report cards matters in colleges, universities, and work jobs.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Roy

Hello Guys! This is Roy, and this is the 3rd post! I told you guys that it is coming soon xD @@!!!

I am in Middle school now, first post in grade 6! Congrats to myself!

Ok, so now we are going to talk about Digital Literacy, we are learning how to design things on the internet. We are currently using the website Canva to learn designing tips, and we are to post when we finish every section.

I have currently finished the first section,  'Getting Started'.

I am going to do a short reflection about that topic.

Today, in 'Getting Started' I have learned about first things and steps of designing. I have learned how to change colors and fonts, moving things back'n forward to make the texts clear, putting text holders, images on grids, and a lot more! I enjoyed learning to design, and I also noticed that the magazine companies may also use these canva tools to make/edit model fashion pictures!

Thank you guys and this was my reflection xD Please keep on with my blog the 3rd post will come soon!~ xD

Roy’s Argument With Jun Kai

Written by: Roy Choi

It was an ordinary morning, at an ordinary school, on the third of February. It was the day that I finally left South Korea to visit my relatives and prepare for the TET Holiday!  In the morning, Jeff and I were peacefully working on our Google Docs in a typical class called A415. We both had very large grins that almost ripped our lips, until we were brought to an unfortunate, and also a quite serious argument.  We were best friends since the first day of school, because we had a lot of the same thinking, and both of us had our very own style, and we never ever became enemies even once.

But that day, brought us an argument that I think Jeff didn’t want to be my friend, first he started the argument by exclaiming: “Haha! You can’t participate in the TET Assembly!”

I really wanted to participate in it. He kept on annoying me by making troll faces and dancing those dumb troll dances. That day, after he shouted at me, I was completely mad at Jeff, my face was completely red like a well-done apple, and knew that he didn’t wanted to be my friend. So we argued forever like a bunch of those old ladies who argue and fight at the local market. Jeff kept mumbling in a really small sound that he wanted to be my friend, but I kept cutting those weird mumbling sentences off as quickly as an instant cut-machine because I was just terrified with him, and I just wanted to stay away from him for awhile. Meanwhile, I was heading to the airport, and my face was as red as a big apple, because of the Troll Faces and Dances Jun Kai made. Those annoyances were just way too harsh that even my voice cracked. (You can click Here(1) to know more about my voice cracking.) But While I was in Korea, I strangely missed him, but I was too shy to say “Can we please be friends again?” because it was obvious that he wouldn’t accept me as a friend anymore. So I kept threatening him to be my friend by saying “ENEMY”. Yeah. I know it sounds dumb. Anyways, I was as shy as a performer that has 6 billion people in the audience. Luckily, when we went to Cat Tien, our relationship got so much better.  During the Cat Tien Trip, it was Jeff’s Birthday. We became friends again by saying: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF!!”

-The End-

(1) The link of 'Here' is a link to Jeff's document, he wrote about my voice cracking... but unfortuneately most likely you do not have access to the document....

My strength of writing is that I can create exciting ideas, I may think that that's because my mom was the head Writer in the Korean Kindergartener's TV Show.

But my weakness is that I can't really keep my story short, and if I make one exciting story then I keep on making it long.

And this was it! Thank you for reading my post!
