My Goals for the 3rd Quarter was to be able to use Moodle efficiently and to make good friends. So far, I have managed to achieve my goals. I have skills to use Moodle as well and I also have many good friends that help me around.

          My Goals for the 4th Quarter are to beable to play Carmen properly and Czardas on the offbeat for music, I am also struggling to play the Jig. I also wish to raise my Chinese grade to a C+.

this is an administrative test of the early morning blogging system. I am also including a test for a search algorithm.

Student vs Wild Project

          I honed a great many new skills, including geographic details, survival skills, how to cope with friends, and valuable teamwork skills in the STUDENT vs. WILD project. I learnt many geographic details- like the names and places of capital cities. I also <insert something here instead of learnt> about the whereabouts of major countries in Africa. Valuable information I also received<doesnt make sense from first time read) was the poisonous flora and fauna in the area, as well as the edible ones. I honed<any other vocab?) valuable skills for handling and working with people while working with my group. I also used information that was practically useless, for example, the amount of rainfall in the Sahara desert, what soldiers usually bring along to aid in battle and reconnaissance missions etc. ( you used too much “I also…”, replace with something else.)

         There were plenty of challenges, too plenty to list all of them, so I will list the major challenges in the project. I was extremely unlikely that we could meet on the first week for the project due to family reunions, Taipei school, etc. Also, we were having draft and Internet problems, so instead of meeting to finish the project on Saturday only, we had to give up our free time on Sunday to come and finish off the project, since we were only half done. Another challenge that was challenging to overcome was our transportation, Ruby didn’t have a vehicle, therefore, I had to provide transportation for Ruby. Minh’s brother was also a challenge, he sidetracked us half the time, and delayed us the other half. Minh had to tell his brother off a dozen times and then hand him an iPhone before he exited our room.
