Hi Pals and Peeps!
In my class, we were studying about the 20TH century and we got to pick a special 20TH century person/idea/invention; who made a big change to the world. We had to create a Timeline and a Feature Article about our Change Agent. My Change Agent was Buzz Aldrin and I’ve been working on a Feature Article about him. My Change Agent was a brave and courageous man that fought for positive thoughts about dangerous and amazing journeys . I found out that one of the character ( Buzz Light year) from that Movie represents for Buzz Aldrin the Great-Computer-Whiz Astronaut. So, I thought why don’t I pick him because everyone is not as independent to try out new lifetime journeys and endless amazing adventure possibilities, and giving an example of Buzz Aldrin is a very change to their minds. After all his actions, it proves we all can be strong and courageous, even in your age. We had some Questions to answer about our 20TH century Change Agent Project.
- What I did well :
- What I need to improve
I might need to put more pictures and make my paragraphs shorter so that I can have more space in order to place pictures on my Features Article. Maybe I need to use more than a few website for my writing.
- How\where I collected most of my information. What resources were helpful and reliable (trusted). Why?
I collected and found most of my Information either from the NASA website or Buzz Aldrin‘s official web (Which I got Most of all my Info from). I think the websites I found were reliable because most of the picture and writing from there is (Most of it) from my Change Agents life and own words. And that website was the only website I need to find personal info about my Change Agent, it had many personal pictures other websites doesn’t have.
- Time frame or timeline of writing process;
- What was challenging
It was quite very challenging for me because I did not do it in school and I did not have a visual support for my feature article. And I wasn’t quite sure how to organize my paragraphs on my Feature Article and where to locate the picture on the paper. I did plan it out though but when I actually did it on publisher, it didn’t turn out right so I had a change of plans.
- What was easy
What was easy for me is to find pictures because most of the important pictures are all in one website. And when we’re writing the paragraphs, it was easy because we wrote some paragraphs/sentences in our presentation so we could look there for help.
- Purpose and audience of the article
- Favorite part of article
- My design process
First I had to choose a fit background color for my page before I do anything else. Than I place my title at the top before I run out of space for my title. Every-time I finish adding a paragraph I would stick a picture beside it. At the end I just stick a caption next to my photo’s so the audience will know what image it is.
