Deformities of sea creatures, eyeless shrimps, claw-less crabs, and fish without eye socket. What is happening in the sea? What is happening to the sea creatures? The BP (people who spilled the oil in the sea) people are destroying happiness in the sea and causing them to suffer. The scientist was able to prove that the sea creatures are deforming thanks to the chemical that the government have put into the sea to clean the oil that was spilled few years ago. Not only that, they also found out the later generations of those sea creatures that were deformed. Fisherman had never seen sea creatures that have tumor head.

If we were to eat those sea creatures, would our body be affected too? If so, are there any medicine and anyway that they could be cure? I felt frustrated because BP didn’t take responsibility and didn’t want to admit that their oil affects these sea creatures. They said it was “as safe now as it was before.” If it was safe, then why didn’t they take the credit, isn’t it a way to do sales for them? Base on the information, I can determine that the chemical that are being spread in the sea, is deforming the sea creatures.

If the sea around my community was spilled with oil, I would try to find a way to filter the oil without deforming the sea creatures. Are there any way to separate the oil and the water? When I learn about density in science class, I learn that water and oil can be separate because there densities are different. Oil is much heavier than water, and the result is that they can be separate. If the water and the oil can be separate, then the life of many sea creatures can be safe. If sea creatures are safe, then economy will become normal again, and we can continue eating seafood. IF we still want to eat them, we need to find a way to cure for them.
