Imagine you’re inside a plane, ready to jump into thin air and you’re risking your life with one parachute on your back and there’s only one kind of person that can make that possible, the pilot. Flying is part of most people’s life because it helps them travel to new places. Have you ever wondered how food, mail and other supplies get from place to place so quickly? Pilots are especially important when there is a war or a disaster. So that’s why pilots have one of the most important jobs in our society .
Pilots are very important to our society because they rescue people and animals who are in danger. These pilots are not always paid for their work. One organization Pilots n’ Paws helps to rescue pets that have been abandoned by their owners and need to be flown to a new place. The pilots in this organization donate their time and use their planes to fly the dogs to a new home. Pilots can also help people when they are in danger. Once I saw this man on television who slid down from a high hill without any sled and injured his leg. After that, a helicopter pilot saw him and rescued him because that was his job to save the injured man. This is a reason why pilots are important and that’s because they help rescue people and animals.
Pilots not only rescue people and animals, but they also transport people and cargo around the world. I fly around Southeast Asia to have a vacation or visit my family in Thailand or Vietnam.Other kids in my class use planes to travel on their holidays or for an emergency. About 42.5 % of the students in my survey think they want to travel abroad by airplane. I had a connection when I saw container ships and a container trucks. I asked my mom what are those containers and how are they on the inside. She said there’s some cargo like electronics, vehicles and other supplies in them. Cargo and big supplies can also be transported by air. Transporting cargo by air is much faster than by land or sea. Transporting is important because it’s much faster if you travel or transport supplies
Pilots are important because they help during wars and disasters. Pilots go to war to help save people who need help help their team a lot by delivering soldiers or fighting hard.For example in March 2011, the Marines used a helicopter to rescue one of the crew members of the U.S air force. In 2007, July 2 pilots had a crash landing in Bagdad and they were rescued by a helicopter pilot.Pilots help people who need to be rescued due to hurricanes, tsunamis, floods and other natural disasters.
As you can see, pilots are very important in our society. Without pilots, we would not be able to fly to different places or transport things quickly. Air Rescue Operations would not be able to happen very often. Planes are extremely useful during wars because they are fast, strong, and can shoot or can drop bombs during that time. So that’s why pilots are amazing people who had changed the world a lot.
