Reading 5

I have only 1 reading post and it was about Where the mountains meet the moon. In this post I explained about the book and gave it a little summary. I think I did really well on summary because I worked really hard on it. In Where the mountain meets the moon I enjoyed writing the poem and it was basically like the morale of the story

Where the mountain meets the moon

In our class we were reading a book called Where the mountains meet the moon it is a good book maybe you could read it too it was thrilling but also funny and it has lots of folk tales in China.

Summary:A girl called Minli wanted to change her fortune because at her village crops will not grow expect or rice, her family doesn’t have enough food too feed on, she has a small cottage, and her mother always sighed unhappily. But how could she change their poor fortune? her fathers tells stories that thrilled Minli and she wanted to hear more but her mother sighed unhappily in disbelief and with anger. One day she tried to change their fortune, but how? in the beginning of that journey there was already problems.

A poem of how I felt about or think about the book:
Be thankful for what you have.
Would you like things that are worse?
Don’t regret for what you get.
At least you get something but not nothing.

I hope you can read this book and enjoy it.
