Current Events 5

In 5th grade we have to do current events every month. Current events is when we go to a news website and if you find a awesome news then you write about it. Out of all my current events I like this one the best on the bottom. I liked it because it was the most interesting news out of all the news I read. Oh my gosh! this goat is so skilled. There was this article in dogonews about a goat in California learning how to surf. That sounds pretty crazy to me but when I continue to read and saw pictures then I really have to believe it. This goat’s name is Goatee and she learned how to surf. She would drag the surf board on her back and run into the water and when there is a wave she hoped on her surf board and started to surf.Her owner is Dana McGregor who went through alot of trouble teaching a goat how to surf but in the end all that hard work became something that is so awesome. Goatee was supposed to clear up un-wanted weeds in Dana’s garden but after a while Dana started to like Goatee and adopted her as his pet.
