Dear Ms Gabbert,

I have been reading a kind of thick book and the title is The Shadow Thief  and this book is a series. In fact, the first book of the series. First of all, the book is excellent, I read about more than half way through. BUT! It has some parts that are very very very boring. For example, in some of the chapters, the author talks about Greek mythology and I hate it! Even though I like stories, don’t mean that I like EVERY story. So sometimes, when I read to the chapters of Greek mythology, I just skip the page. Well, not the page, the entire chapter! The characters in Greek mythology are so boring to me. I just like the main story. Well, the story is about a girl that lives in U.S.A and his cousin lives in England. His cousin’s dad sent him to live with the girl because there is a flu that is going on. The boy comes but then, the place where he lives also gets wiped out by the flu. Or they think. Actually, later on in the book, they found out that it is not  a flu, a man in the under world wants to over take the underworld so he made some fake guys and they came the the real life and started stealing peoples shadows. After reading this far, I barely could sleep!
