Hi friends, pals, readers, and fans,
We’ve been studying about Government in Communism, Socialism, Dictatorship, and Monarchy and how the government works and what they do. But sadly that has come to an end. So today I will be reflecting and comparing. We are going to reflect and compare about Federal Republic form of government to the Dictatorship. A Dictatorial government is a kind of government where the leader is the most powerful. The dictator (leader) can do anything they want. They can also make decisions about the properties and also about the people living life . You would probably be wondering is a dictator bad, well I would say yes(In my opinion.) Because they can do what ever they want, and you can’t stop them. They can punish and beat you up with no reasons, take your family away from you. Because they have the power to do anything, they are unstoppable.
Questions that I will be answering (that shows difference between the two government ) :
1. How do the leaders come to power?
If you where in the Federal Republic government anyone from their country in a party that has a strong leadership experience in politics, etc. You could run and have a good chance of being voted. So there will be elections, and we the people get to vote ( if we want). But in a dictatorship you would have to kill the recent dictator. But if you choose to retire you can give your power to anyone you wish. But if you where in the federal republic you would have to run again and be elected again.
2. How is property (land, money or other goods) distributed?
For a Federal Republic government, they can provide health and welfare for people and in business and help provide public schools. But you cannot choose how much you can give land, money, or other goods to. You have to follow the laws that are on the constitution. And you may not favor any trading systems, and is not allowed to control or change pricing if the laws doesn’t allow. But the dictator has complete control over a country’s businesses, natural resources, money, court system, and every other power. And they can create any law and not follow any too.
3. What rights do people have (or do not have?)
In the Federal Republic government everyone is treated about fairly. People could have their own rights, belief, and so on. But in a dictatorship, people only have the rights that a dictator allows them to have. And a dictator can give different rights to anyone he wants. They have no power because the dictator decides what are there rights and what they will do .(he can favor anyone too) A dictator can do anything he desires, and no one shall stop him.
4. Can people say whatever they want in the media?
The federal republic, must follow/listen to the constitution and has not a lot of control to the media. You could say or write anything you want to discuss about or your opinion. (Unless it really hurts someone feelings.) But in a dictatorship, a dictator can arrest, torture, or execute anyone, at anytime, for anything. So they cannot write or say anything they want unless the dictator agrees. Because the dictator controls everything including the media.
5. What are the checks and balances on the power?
The constitution limits the power of the Federal Republic government. And in a Federal Republic government, all the branches check on each others. They all have to check on each other to make each branch better, balanced, and not going to far . But in a Dictatorial government, no person or groups can check the powers of a dictator’s choice and his limit of power. But the dictator power is unlimited, and no one can disagree with him.
6. How are rules or laws made? How are they changed?
The Federal Republic government can make a bill (to or not becoming law) but before a bill can become a law, the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and the President must approve it. But if the president doesn’t approve the bill and sends it back to the Congress, then it meant the president veto the bill. But it can still be a law if two-thirds of the Congress members vote on this bill to become a law. They can change a bill by rewriting it so it can become better and so the president may make it to a law.But a dictator can make a law whenever he wants without any permission. The dictator can change the laws whenever they want, and they don’t have to follow the laws they make. In a Federal Republic government people vote and discuss if a bill should become a law, but a dictator can create a law with no discussion or permission.
7.What is the role of the constitution? Can it be changed?
In the Federal Republic government a constitution is lists of rules and laws made long ago that you must follow. The constitution was made so people could become a better person, have their right they need. And the life they wish and should have. (so their education, food, house, bill, medicine, etc.)If you want to change a law you can only modify it, but it takes a very long time. In a dictatorship there’s no constitution. Because the dictator can make any laws and change any laws when he wants to.
(Up here I have listed the difference of the Federal Republic government and the dictatorship.)

1. Both can make rules/laws.
2. They can collect tax or money from people.
3. Both has a leader of the country
4. Both have access to power

7. They have the power to create business
8. Both can give people punishment
