Dear Mr. Woodford and The Student Council Members,
I am Janette Nguyen, I am in 5h grade, in Ms.Gabbert’s class.Well in Ho Chi Minh , there is food issues that people don’t get enough food because they are homeless or poor. This is a big problem because people live without food and water for days,weeks, or maybe months sometime tragedy happens. There’s many ways to solve it.
1. In Phu My Hung we could make a free food center.This building doesn’t only have to be for food, it could also be used for learning,living, and adoption center. We could have volunteers to help us donate food,supplies, and money, they could also help teach,cook, and also take care of the elderlies and childrens.
2. In downtown Saigon, we could also make a small market only for the poor ad homeless to have free food and also old supplies. People could volunteer if they want to help. The market sells items that you need in your life, you don’t have to pay. Maybe everyone month we can do a ceremony where people or volunteers buy some food and supplies and they give them them to the poor.
Please volunteer to help Remember that when you ever throw away your food, that the others don’t have any thing so you should appreciate what you have.
